So, why than do we reside in a global where politicians crank out laws about issues that they themselves don’t have any, or hardly any understanding of. Sure, they’ve advisory boards, but in the finish they twist the recommendation they are engaging in something that THEY think works best. Mostly for his or her own benefits and also to stay in office. That has been by doing this for as long politics has existed.However, there’s hope to change this. During the last decade or two, a brand new phrase has emerged in academic circles: The data based society! Now, what’s this? Economic experts, forecasters and academics have experienced a trend that started to emerge with time. Here is the concept in a nutshell:

As society changes and evolves, so its needs and wants, and then the economy changes too. During the 1800′s, society took it’s origin from a land and agricultural economy. Which means that buying of wealth and power is no longer linked to land possession, agricultural production, or industrial output. Increasingly more manual labor is now being performed by machines and robots. The old agriculture and manufacturing jobs are falling to the wayside. Power and wealth has become linked to the possession and production of Data, information, scientific discovery and Knowledge. The old saying: “Knowledge is Power”, hasn’t been more valid than today. They nations, companies or individuals who can offer the most knowledge, would be the most influential in society.

So, what has all this related to the politicians i was talking about at first? Well, would it not make more sense to possess academics or scientists guide and lead the world, since they are experts in their field of endeavor. Wouldn’t you believe that experts may come track of more prevalent sense and more laws and regulations that really are good for all mankind? It will be a great way to place experts in charge, rather than politicians. Besides, there’d be hardly any chance that they are worried about staying in power and winning the following elections.
